India celebrates a proud moment as a Telangana women M.A. Farha has been honoured with the prestigious World Changemaker Award at the Global Youth Congress 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 2–4 July 2026. The international honour recognizes her exceptional contributions to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through her dedicated work in women empowerment, education, youth leadership, environmental sustainability, and community development. Representing India on the global stage, Dr. Farha’s achievement has brought pride to the nation and highlighted the growing impact of Indian women in global leadership and social transformation.
From being crowned Mrs. India 2021 first Runner-Up and Mrs. India Photogenic 2021 to receiving international recognition as a World Changemaker, Dr. Farha’s journey is an inspiring story of perseverance, leadership, and service. She has transformed every milestone into an opportunity to empower others, proving that success is meaningful only when it creates a positive impact on society.
A High Court Advocate, MBA, LLB, and Psychology graduate, Entrepreneur, Social Activist, FIT India Ambassador, Feed India Ambassador, and Ambassador associated with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, Dr. Farha has dedicated her life to public service. Her work has been recognised with several prestigious honours, including the Nari Shakti Award, Shree Shakti Award, Superwoman Award, Lifestyle Influencer Award, and an Honorary Doctorate (WHPRC). Her inspiring journey and social impact have also been documented by BBC, reflecting the global recognition of her commitment to social change.
What makes her journey even more remarkable is her ability to balance family, profession, and social responsibility. As a devoted wife and mother of a graduate son and a teenage daughter, Dr. Farha has shown that marriage and motherhood are not barriers to success. She strongly believes that women should never allow social stereotypes to define their future.
“Marriage is not a barrier. Motherhood is not a limitation. Poverty is not destiny. With courage, confidence, education, and self-belief, every woman has the power to achieve her dreams,” says Farha. Her life reflects this belief, inspiring thousands of women to pursue their ambitions without fear or hesitation.
Driven by a vision to build a stronger and more inclusive society, Farha founded the Faras Welfare Foundation, which works extensively in the areas of women’s empowerment, education support, youth development, environmental conservation, and community welfare. The foundation conducts plantation drives, distributes books and stationery to students in government schools, provides sanitary pads to girls and women in rural communities, supports educational initiatives for underprivileged children, and organises awareness and leadership programmes that empower women and youth.
Sharing her vision, Dr. Farha said, “My ambition is to change the world by fulfilling my responsibility as a citizen. I believe every individual has the power to bring positive change. My dream is to build a stronger and more developed India by empowering women, educating children, supporting youth, protecting the environment, and strengthening communities. Real change begins when we take responsibility for creating a better future.”
